Allay provides group therapy for children, adolescents and adults. We have designed our groups to enhance wellbeing, improve life skills and develop social functioning. Utilising the power of groups to promote capacity building, build connection, and learn from others.
Groups are tailored to age groups, goals and conditions to ensure that there is focus on meaningful areas that present at varying stages of life.
2026: Term 2
Course: Recovery Through Activity
Age: Adults
Dates: May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
Times: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Duration: 8 sessions
Our Recovery Through Activity program is designed to support individuals transition through the remotivation process for positive lifestyle changes, and increase meaning and purpose in their everyday roles and routines.
It is a supportive and practical group that helps adults build skills and confidence in everyday life through fun, hands-on activities. The group encourages positive routines, social connection, and personal growth to support recovery and a more meaningful life.
Topics covered include: Recovery, Leisure, Creativity and Technology, Physical/Outdoor activity, Self-care, Vocation, Caring & Faith, Domestic, and Social & Community.
Course: Art Ink (Adults)

Our Art Ink group program for adults provides a creative and reflective space to explore personal identity, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful self-expression. Through guided art-based activities, participants are encouraged to engage with their thoughts and feelings in a non‑judgmental environment that promotes personal insight and emotional growth.
Across the sessions, adults will use creativity as a tool to deepen self-awareness, process experiences, and develop practical strategies for emotional regulation and resilience. The group supports participants in navigating stress, relationships, life transitions, and personal challenges through expressive arts and gentle therapeutic discussion.
With a strong focus on connection and community, the group fosters a sense of belonging where individuals feel understood and supported. Participants will have opportunities to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and experience the therapeutic benefits of creativity alongside others on similar journeys.

Our group program is designed to help children express themselves through art, creativity, and meaningful activities. It provides a supportive space to explore identity, build self-esteem, and develop strong friendship skills.
Through engaging sessions, children will explore their emotions and social interactions in a safe, nurturing environment. They will participate in activities that inspire creativity and self-expression, while also learning practical strategies for social and emotional regulation.
With a focus on creating a sense of belonging, the group helps participants feel supported as they navigate friendships and develop tools for positive self-esteem and self-awareness.

Our group program helps children explore their feelings through art, creativity, and fun activities. It provides a safe and supportive space to build confidence, make friends, and feel comfortable being themselves.
Through engaging sessions, kids take part in creative activities that encourage self-expression while learning simple skills to manage emotions and get along with others.
With a focus on connection and belonging, the group supports children to build friendships, grow their confidence, and develop positive social skills in a fun and welcoming environment.
Course: Strong Minds Homework Club
Age: Early High School
Dates: School holidays – Week 1
June 29th, 30th, July 1st, 2nd
Times: 2:30 – 3:30pm
Sessions: 4 sessions
This group supports early high school students or those new to homework by building essential executive functioning skills like planning, prioritising, and time management. Students learn to break tasks into manageable steps and stay organised in a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Occupational Therapists provide tailored strategies to reduce stress and overwhelm, helping students gain confidence and independence. It also gives students a chance to connect with peers who face similar challenges.
